FAILURE OF FITZWILLIAMS’ EXPEDITION.

Land elides at Cocos Island, south-west of Panama, interfered with an expedition whioh left England last October aboa/4 the steamer Verongue under command df Lord Fitzwilliam to searoh for buried' treasure. Lord Fitzwilliam and several of the party were slightly injured, and arc now i at Jamaica, homeward bound.
