Frank Gardner, of Gardner and Gorpolet, connected with Westralian mining, has been sued in Paris by a woman who went through a form of marriage in 1§96, and whom he acknowledged as bis wife until 1901. 3ho seeks to establish validity of marriage, and, if invalid, claims Xfo,ooo sterling as compensation. . The case has been adjourned for a week.
