(Per Eresa Association.) Blenheim, last night. Two applications for the position of medical officer were received by the Hospital Board to-day from other parts of the colony, no looal dootors applying. On an amendment that Dr Anderson be made the offer to take up the position again, the chairman deolined to exercise a casting vote and resigned the chairmanship. Another chairman was elected, and finally the question was deferred pending the framing of by-laws as to the medieal staff, Dr Anderson to be asked to take charge in the meantime.
