(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. An inquest was held yesterday oa the body of Joseph Rogers Clark, of Newtown, who was .found hanging in .his residence on Friday evening. A verdioo of wiifui suicide was returned. Deceased's wife and stepdaughter »»;d t*>nr be had. frequently threatened to . i»k. ms l>fe. Deoeased was -66 or 68 years old. Toe wife .said they had been married seven years, and during the whole oi that -ame she had never seen him properly sober. Daring the past 18 months he contributed practically.nothing to household expenses.
