All indications are that the North Island Bowling Tournament, to bo. commenced In Gisborne oh Monday, will be a great gaccees. s? The bowlers irons the South, including JJr Mentiplay, will arrive thin morning,', •nd those from theNorsharrive to-morrow' afternoon. At present the weather conditions are favorable, and, it ia hoped, will continue so for next week. On Monday and Tuesday, nights there will be private ■ooial gatherings. Oh Wednesday the : •: f - City Band concert will be attended. On Thursday evening there 'will be an open ' gj e concert on the green, and on Friday sight a amoke-oonoerl will be given in His Majesty’s Theatre.
