A SERIOUS CASE.
' '(Per Press Association.) Auckland, yesterday. Iu connection with the death of Mrs Dillon, found doad m a house at Mercer ou Monday night, the police havo arrested a man who, it is allogod, was soeu leaving deceased's house shortly before the discovery of her death. The woman’s limbs were bruised, and some of her clothing was in a disordered condition. At the inquest ovidonao was given by Murgarot Robinson that between 4 and 6 o’olook she saw a man named William Murtoc oome cut of deoeased’s house. Ho said sho was asleep. Thoy went in and found her on the sofa. They could not arouse hor, and raised nn alarm. Tho oilcloth on the floor and oarpot were orumpled up, and other articles scattered over the floor.
