IMMIGRANTS FOR NEW ZEALAND (Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The Shaw, Savill, and AlbionCo.’s big liner lonio arrived to-day from London, bringing 479 passengers, of whom 379 were in the third class. Among the latter are 51 farmers and farpa servants, 18 laborers, 14 engineers, 11 carpenters, and others who follow callings in the whole range of handicrafts. There were ten cases of measles aboard, and the patients were sent to the hospital. Some of the passengers say that distress is very .keen in England, it being exceedingly difficult .to obtain employment.
