(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Mr Townahead, Government grader, states that the usual fortnightly shipment of butter, which left Auckland by . tbe Rotoiti on January Ist for transhipment into tbe Gothic at Wellington, consisted of 10,555 boxss, an increase of 2611 boxes on the corresponding shipment of last year This shipment required 52 trucks to oarry it from the 000 l stores in Auckland to the steamer'B side in Qnebunga. The substantial inorease of 2611 boxes on the fortnight’s supply is likely to be exceeded this month. . The average increase this season over last year’s output -has been over 1000 boxes per fortnight.
