TE KARAKA RACES.

The To Karaka Racing Club bold their first annual mooting' on the Mukaraka racecourse on Now Acer's Day. The Beeretary, Mr J, Devery, assisted by a powertul committee, have all the arrangements completed, and should the weather prove favorable a most enjoyablo day should be spent. The first-race starts at 12.30 p.m., which gives townspeople uinpie time to teach the course. Eight ruCes have been in-ranged, and ±450 wmbuspeut in prizes, fine items will leave Gfsoorue lor iViukaraka at 9.40 a.m., noon, 4.50 p.m., and 5.30 p.m. Brakes will also be running througnout the day. Thu meeting promises to be very successful, und deserved the patronage of all lovers of racing.
