PRICES FULLY MAINTAINED. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. Thoro was a smaller yarding than usual at tho Addington saloyards to day, and a fair attendance of buyers. . Fat cattle : 114 head were yarded, including somo very useful sorts, butchers being well supplied. The demand was poor, and a dragging sale resulted. Prices? were equivalent to those of the previous, woek. Eight steers forwarded by Mr W. F. M. Buckley (Hoon Hay) realised from j£B 10s to JUO 10s ; other steors brought from £6 7s 6d to £lO, heifora £6 to £B, cows £5 17s 6d to £9. Tho price of beef ranged from 20s to 23s per IOOIbs. _ Dairy cattle : An entry of 10 sold aprices ranging from £5 12s 6d to £9 17b

sd. , Fat sheep: The entry of sneep was much smaller than usual, with tho result that tho recent rates were fully maintained. The range of prices was wethers 16s 5d to 19s lOd, best ewes 15s 6d to 17s

lid, others 13s to 15s. Fat Lambs : The entry totalled Butchers did not bid so keonly as at recent sales, and a fair proportion of tho yarding was secured by freezing buyers at a reduction on late rates. Tho range of prices was as follows : Freezers 13s 6d to lbs, butchers’ lots 11s 6d to 16s 9d. Store Sheep : Thero was a very small yarding of store sheep, the entry totalling only 956. For these there was little demand, and tho two largest lines, oil lambs and 170 2-tooth ewes, were passed in at 10s 3d and 14s 6d respectively. The chief sales were: SO 4-iooth wethers a» 15s 9d, 37 four and 6-tooth las Sd, 71 4-tooth wethers at las 6d, 172 owes and lambs at 7s 6d. Pins: A small yarding met with.improved sale at tho following rates: Baconers 42s to 535, equal to 4£d per lb; porkers 30s to 395, equal to from 4id to ad per ib ; largo stores, 24s to 80s, medtum las to 233, wcaners 12s 6d.
