The 8,8. Ta Anau loaves Napier at 8 this evening, and arrives oarly to-morrow. She sails for Auckland soon after arrival, and there will be only one launch, at 6 a.m. Thoro will bo two launches for the South on Wednesday evening. One launch at 5 p.m., and another at 7 p.tu. The Talune arrives from Auckland tomorrow evening, and leaves for Napier, the last launch at 7 p.m. The schooner Aoteu (Captain Skinner) arrived from Auckland via Coast ports yesterday afternoon. The Tyaer linor Mimiro left Now York for Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland on December 23.

The schooner Waiapu soils this morning for Tokomaru for a cargo of wool for Gisborne.

The Aotea brings the following cargo for this port : —l3O boles wool, 170 cases and casks, 15 tons coal, 13 tons sugar, 10,000 ft. timber, 50 sacks joinery, 10 casos iron, 30 packets, nails, etc., 100 bundles fruit boxes, and various sundries. Captain Skinner reported that ho left Auckland on December 10, and reached Omni on the 12th, but owing to the strong westerly winds was unablo to land cargo for a week. Finished Bay of Plonty ports on the 19th, and worked Hick’s Bay and Te Araroa on 20th, rounding the East Cape the same evening. A strong south-east wind prevented landing at Port Awanui, but worked Tuparoa 21st, and arrived the same evening at Waipiro- Worked Wai* piro and Tolago on 22nd, and returned to Tokomaru and Port Awanui. On Christmas Day worked. Tolago, Pakarae, and "WhaDgara. On Saturday returned to Doisel’s, Waihau, and shippod 100 bales wool and landed cargo. Before dark on Saturday night a southerly gale came on and the Aotea had to return io_ Tolago, leaving at midnight on Sunday night, and arriving here about 2.30 p.m.
