In the Combined Champion Doubles Adams and Miss Powdrell boat Tipping and Miss It. Well wood, 6 -2, G—l; Parker and Miss Nunnell.y beat Dixon and Miss Fannin, 6—l, G—l ; Tyser and Miss Todd boat Baker and Miss Wilson, 7 —5, B—6; Peacock and Miss Harmon beat Kirk and Miss M. Ward, G—3, 6 —2.
Men's Championship Singles: W. Abrorn beat R. Bauchop, 62, 6-1, 4—6 ; F. Laisbloy boat H. Bradley, 63, 6 6—3 : W. Gos beat J. G. Johnston, 7 6—3, 6-0. Championship Doubles : ‘ C. C. Cox and H. M. Gore beat It. C. Kirk and Dr Perry, 6—l, 6—o, 6—2; Logan and Fonwicke beat It. Bauohop and C. L. Margoliouth, 6—3, 6-3, 6—3.; Ladies’ Champion Doubles: Misses Gorrie beat Mieses Berkeley and Chaffey, 6—4, 6—l. ,-tu Ladies' Champion Singles: Miss M. Ward beat Miss Chaffey, 6 —l, 6—4 ; Miss Fitzßoy beat Miss Robinson, 6—3, 6—2 ; Mrs Playno beat Miss Ward, 6—l, 6 —3 ; Miss Nunnelly beat Miss Welhvood, 6—l, 6—o; Mrs Pearco beat Miss Douslin, 6-1, 5-2. The lawn ten Dis championship meeting [ was continued to-day. There was a large | attendance. The game between Peacock and Sloman, in the men’s championship singles, was a good one, as was also that in the ladies’ championship doubles between Mrs Marchbanks and Miss Gore, BDd Mrs Payne and Mrs Blannoring. In tho men’s championship singles Brown, Laishley, Goss, Peacock, and Kirk won in the second round, and Parker, Laishley, and Peacock in the third round. Ladies’ championship singles : Misses M. Ward, Nunneley, Fitzroy, and Mrs Payne won in the second round, and MisseH Powdrell, Gore, and Nunneley in the third round. Men’s championship doubles : jDruce and Sloman won in the first rouncj ; Cox, Gore, Logan, and Fenwick won in the second, and Laishley and Parker in the third round. Ladies' championship
doubles : Mrs Mannering and Mrs Payne won in the first round ; Misses Gorrie (2), Mrs Pearce, Miss Powdrell, Mrs Marchbanks, Miss Gore, aud Misses Nunneley and Harman in the second round. In the combined championship doubles Adams and Miss Powdrell won in the first round ; Tyser and Mias Todd, Gobs and Mrs Ballantyne, and Adams and Miss Powdrell in the second round. In the men’s handicap singles, first grade, Messrs Sloman, Coleman, E. JBeero, and Kirk won in the first round ; Redward, HuDter, Tyser, and Brown in the second round. Men’s handicap singles, second grade : Swainson, Goldsmith, Cachemaile won the first round ; Tomoana, Nelson, Coates, G. Broad, Keesing, Goldsmith, Grady,
Swainson the second round. " In the ladies' handicap singles Misses- Fannin, Eussell, and Wellwood won the first round ; Mrs Westall, Misses Todd, FitzBoy, Berkeley, M. Gorrie, Heath, Ward, Bedward, Bobinson won the second rounc}. In the men’s handicap doubles B J^argo : liouth and Von Dadelszen, Vaile and Brown, Wilson and Cooko, Webber and Tomoana, Bradley and Tyser, Paslcy and Goldsmith won in the first round ; Margoliouth and Von Dadelszen, Brabant and Bell, Parker and Keesing won the second round. In the ladies’ handicap doubles Mrs Westall and Miss Nevill, Misses Harman and Berkeley won the first round ; Misees Wellwood and Brathwaite, Misses Hindmarsh (2) won the second round. In the combined match Jlaunoring and ifrs Mannering, Crump and Mies Wellwood, Bedward and Miss Bobinson, Ballßntyne and Miss Butberford, Tyser and MBs Todd, Levien and Miss D. Hindmarsh won the second round.
