Hopetoun Cap : Cluster 1, Anuotale 2. Eight started. Betting : oto 2 Deucalion, 5 to 1 Cluster. Won by two lengths. Time, 2.261. Seafort ran second, but was disqualified owing to failure to draw the weight.

WAIRIKI WINS THE CUP. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Tho Auckland Racing Ciub’s summer meeting opened yesterday iu fine weather, and there was a very largo attendance.
