MEN OF WARSMEN IMPLICATED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 1.16 a.m., Dec. 23. Sydney, Dee. 22. Tho biggest soizuro of contraband goods ever made by tho Customs was made today. It consisted of 40,000 cigars, a kog of sherry, a few cases of whisky, gin, Florida water, tobacco, and a quantity of other articles. A number of men-of-warsmen implicated alleged that they had been in tho habit of obtaining goods from bond by making a false declaration as to their destination. As the result of developments suspicion was fixed on a city firm doing business with warships, and the seizure was eileetod.
