STEAMER EXPLODES.
By Telograph—Proas Association—Copyright Paris, Dec. 17. An Italian vessel lying at Marseilles with 7000 barrels of petroleum exploded, killing the captain and six of the crew. The report was heard for miles. Twentythree coal-laden trucks standing on the quay were burned.
