Bfjiday, the 25th December, and Ist ’January will he observed as close holidays. All mails lor despatch during these days will <be made up at. 7.30 p.m. on the evening preceding. .On Saturday, the 26th inst. (Boxing Day), tlve Offico will be open in all branches except Money Order and Savings Bank, from 9 to 10 a.m., and mails w 11 be made up as usual until 8 a.m.
On Boxing Day letter-carriers will make one complete delivery, commencing at 8 a.m. On Thursday preceding the Holidays, the wicket in Box Lobby will be open from 7 to 8 p.m. for delivery pi letters only. TELEGRAPH OFFICE.
jfon Christmas Bay, this Office will he open from 9.30 to 10 a.m.,- and from 5 to 5.30 p.m. On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight, rrelegrams to be handed in at delivery wicket in Private Box lobby.. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, Will be open on Christmas ' Day from 9to 10 a.m. On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, the usual hours jof attendance will be observed. Country Offices in Gisboune district —On Christmas and New Year’s days these Offices will observe a close holiday ; but on Boxing Day they will !be open in all branches, except Money Order and Savings’ Bank, from 9 to 10 a.m.
