CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S HOLIDAYS,
CHIEF POST OFFICE, GISBORNE
Friday, the 25th December, and Ist January will be observed as close holiday’s. All mails for despatch during those days will be made up at 7.30 p.m. on the evening preceding. On Saturday, the 20th inst. (Boxing Day), the Office will be open in all branches except Money Order and Savings Bank, from 0 to 10 a.m., and mails w 11 be made up as usual until S a.m. On Boxing Day letter-carriers will make one complete delivery, commencing at S a.m. On Thursday preceding the Holidays, the wiciiet in Box Lobby will 'he open from 7 to 8 p.m. for delivery of letters only. TELEGRAPH OFFICE.
On Christmas Day, this Office will he open from 9.30 to 10 a.m., and from 5 to 5.30 p.m. On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, the hours will he from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams io be handed in at delivery wicket in Private Box lobby. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE.
Will lie open on Christmas Day from 9to 10 a.m. On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, the usual hours ot' attendance will be observed.
