SHIPPING.
The Shaw-Savill steamer Kumara arrived from Napier yesterday, and loaves again this evening. Her cargo from this port will include 5958 carcases mutton and lamb, 847 quarters beef, 70 casks tallow and pelts, and 100 cases tinned meats shipped by tho Gisborno Freezing Company ; 90 bales of wool by Dalgoty and Co., and 250 bales wool by Common, Shelton and Co. Tho Kumara loaves Wellington for Home at tho end of the month. The Mararoa arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon, and left for Napier at 9 o’clock. Passengers—lnward : Misses Freeman, Wilson, Davis, and Harcourt; Mosdames Ponsford, Wittener, Fell and child; Messrs Davis, Wittener, Dixon, Harris, McKee, Jones, Almao, Cummings, Poreka, and Olsen. Outward : Mesdames BroughtoD, MoLeod and child; Misses Adams, Matheson, Barry, Drogemuller, Brown, Heighley, King, Morgan, Lopdoll, Faubert, and Neill; Messrs Hunter, Dob. son, Young, Bictke, Cooper, McKerrow, McLeod, Crawford, Wauohop, Kinder, Colobourno, Bendle, Elmsley, Howard. The Union Co.’s s.s. To Anau arrived lost night from Napier, and left for Auckland at 9 o’clock. Passengers—Outward : Misses Davies, Baker, Cussen, Barry, and Hayward; Messrs Lindsay and Hill ; Master Davies.
Tho New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Woimate arrivos from Wellington to-day. The Tyser Co.’s Star of Australia arrives in the bay this morning. Messrs Williams and Kettle are the loading agents. The schooner Waiapu passed the East Cape at 8 a.m. yesterday, and should reach here to-day. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS, Wednesday, 16th.—Te Anau arrives from South andloavos for Auckland. First and last launch 7 p.m. Mararoa arrives from Auckland and leaves for South. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.m. Friday, 18th.—Herald arrives from Napier and leaves for East Coast Bays and Auckland. First and last launch, 6 a.m. Sunday, 20th.—Te Anau arrives from Auckland and leaves for Napier. First launch on arrival ; last, 5 p.m.
