Complaints are being made concerning the frequency of tho inconsistent running in the country districts of Canterbury just now. The old gentlemen is in tho best of health and spirits, and celebrated his 82nd birthday on the 2nd inst. Mr Redwood has long been known a 3 Father of tho New Zealand Turf, and is a wonderful man for his ago.
