Lyttelton, last night. Mr Laurcnson, M.H.R., and Mr Frank G. Brown, secretary of tho New Zealand Fisheries Company, who visited Chathams to ascertain their suitability as a fishing ground, returned to Lyttelton by the Toroa on Saturday night. They express satisfaction with the result, having found a great abundance of trumpeter cod and other fish of admirable quality.
