YES-NO REID.

STILL TRYING TO MAKE UP. HIS MIND.

By Electric Telegraph—Per Press, Association—Copyright. Received I.G a.m., Dec. 11. SYDNEY, Dec. 10.

Mr Reid has announced that, although he has not come to a final decision, lie will probably not come before the electors after next Parliament. He thought that those who were instrumental in- securing Federation, and had given five years services, had done their share. If lie retired, he would devote the whole of his energies to his profession. (Mr Reid is an able lawyer, and is especially au adept at the art of cross-examination. As a politician, his reputation for consistency largely depends on the forgetfulness of the public.)
