Gaunt, with Bixty of the Mohawk’s crew, lauded and discussed Graban's death with the 3ultan, who had a force of 400 Somalis. The Sultan declared that he would fight out the difference, and they retired to their respective forces. The Somalis opened fire, and killed a marine and wounded Gaunt.
