“ Felix,” in the Australasian of November 21, has the following to say of the MC.C. cricket team now in Australia “ I must say that I have formed a high opinion of the English team, and I think that it will be a great 1 go ’ between them and the pick of Australia. If Trumble were playing for Australia in true bowling form, I would say that our men would win, with luck evenly distributed, but with Trumble out of the team I am rather inclined to fancy the chances of the Eng. lishmen, notwithstanding the splendid quartette—Hill, Trumper, Duff, and Noble —backed up, as they will be, by seven good men and true. I like the way the Englishmen play together, their alertness and nerve, and I am satisfied that they have a really fine batting side, who will take a lot of getting out right up to the last man,”
