AUSTRALIAN WIDOWS’ FUND.

" THBEE-IN-ONE POLICY.”

Some years ago the directors oE the above Life Assurance Society introduced a new feature into life assurance by issuing a life assurance policy which, in addition to all the usual advantages, insures the payment of the premium for the time during whioh a member might be either temporarily or permanently incapacitated by accidental bodily injury, by illness, or by mental disorder. The great success which has attended this departure, and the many expressions of satisfaction which have reached the Society from members who have had occasion to appreciate its special advantages, have induced the directors to issue a still more liberal policy, under which special payments will be made to members at times when, owing to accidental bodily injury or illness, they are prevented from attending to or following their ordinary professions or occupations. The new policy, to an extent not hitherto achieved, combines the advantages of life assurance (whole life policies and endowment assurance) with real benefits of a provision against the risks of accident and invalidity. The new policy now introduced confers all the usual advantages of an ordinary life assurance policy, and in addition it doubles tho sum assured

if death results by accident; it secures the payment of an amount equal to the ordininary sum assured in event of permanent total disablement; it secures the payment of an amount equal to half the ordinary sum assured in event of permanent partial disablement; secures the payment of an amount equal to half the ordinary amount assured in event of irremedable total blindness or . permanent general paralysis the result of disease. It further provides compensation when the head of the house is incapacitated by accidental bodily injury, or by any one of the numerous diseases specified. Fnll particulars can be obtained from the district agent, Mr T. G. Lawless, or Mr W. F. B. Dines, travelling representative. In anotber column will be fouud particulars of the policy, which is certain to find favor with all provident people. The Society are to be congratulated on their enterprise, and we have no doubt that this new departure will be taken advantage of throughout the distriot, and es ,eeially young men.
