SCHOOL SPORTS

Per Press Association. Christchurch, last night. The public schools sports were held yesterday at Lancaster Park, in fine weather, 3000 children taking part. The massed displays of wand drill, clubs, and dumbbells were exceedingly pretty, and the work done was of a very high standard. The march past by 1500 cadets was a great feature of the day, and elicited much favorable comment. In the athletic events both the hoys’ and girls’ fields were large and the performances good. The attendance was about 6000, and the result will be very satisfactory to the Association.
