SHIPPING.
Tho Union Company’s s.s. Herald arrived from oobeli ports yesterday morning with a largo consignment of wool for Messrs Williams and Kettle, and loft for Napier last night, fciho brought tho following passengers for Gisborne : —Misses Green and Blain, and Mrs Sbopherd and two infants.
Tho s.s/ Wcka arrived from Napier early yesterday morning with a large cargo of timber for Nelson Bros, and Mackrell and Colley. She left for Napier last evening. The schooner Gisborne (Captain Pe.nkow) arrived in port at 4 o’clock yesterday morning from Mercury Bay. She brought a largo consignment of timber for Alackrell and Colley and other consignees. Tho schooner Clio was busily engaged yestorday unloading hor cargo of coal for the railway at tho Western Groyne. Captain Nplsou is awaiting instructions from the owners for his future movements.
The s.s. Waikato left Napier at midnight, and will arrivo heio about 6.30 this inorniug. She leaves for Auckland at 10 a.m.
Tho Taluno leaves Auckland at noon to-day, and is duu here early to morrow afternoon, leaving for tho South at five o’clock. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS,

Last launch, 3 p.m. Wednesday, 2nd JDoc.—To Anau arrives frjm South, and loaves for Auckland. First launch, 6 a.m.; last, 8 a'.m. Waikaro arrives from Auckland and Sydney during the afternoon, and sails for the South. First launch on arrival; last, 7 p.m. Sunday, 6th.—To Anau arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for tho South. Fir=t launch on arrival ; last, 5 p.m. TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING.
