Now they saw those uniting them. The Chamber greeted tho statements with cheers. M. Duliard moved to invito M. Dolcasso to arrange with other nations tho limitation of armaments.

M. Dolcasso replied : ” Our estimates in late years havo boon lowered. Acta aro more than words. It is not incumbent upon us to tako the initiative.” An amendment to M. Dullard’s motion, approving of M. Doleasse’s policy, was carried by 490 to 66.
