Two of the Ogaden (Somali) tribes in the Milrnil country co-operate with the British in preventing the Mullah escaping between the British and Abyssinian forces. Pending the occupation of She wells, assuring a supply of water, the general advance in Somaliland has been postponed to the end of December. General Cobbe is already entrenched at Galadi.
