By Telegraph—Press Association— Dunedin, last night.

At tho criminal sittings to-day William Burn Storey, an elderly man, was convicted of indecent assault on a child aged soven years, and was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment. obarlc3 Wood, a seafaring man, was acquitted of breaking and entering, and Henry McCarthy, who was chaigod with assault causing bodily harm, was also acquitted. The Dunedin Cycling Club to-night decided to hold a meeting on Boxing Day. giving £6O in prize monoy, mostly for motor racing.
