THE MOTU TIMBER.

The meeting to tie addressed tomorrow night by, Mr A. Hickford may, mark another remarkable turn in the progress of this As our reports have from time to time shown, Mr I-lickford has been applying himself with great perseverance to a project for the utilisation of the timber resources oi the Motu, and those who know Mr I-lickford will be convinced that such a project is in good hands—which in itself counts a great deal in the way of success. The fact that the railway may be pushed on towards the Motu is a point in favor of the scheme. But ail that will be for Mr Hickford himself to explain at the meeting to-morrow night..
