PARLIAMENTRY.
LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Saturday. The Council met at 2.30. The Bank cf New Zealand Bill, National Scholarship Bill, and Mutual Fire Insurance Bill passed through Committee without amendment, and were read a third time and passed. WELLINGTON, last night.
In the Legislative Council on Saturday night the Maori Land Laws Amendment Bill was read a second time. The Stock Act Amendment Bill, and Kawhia Counties Bill passed the final stages at 12.5 a.m. The Council adjourned till 11 a.m. on Monday.

The House met at 2.30
The debate on the report of the Isitt petition was continued. At 3.10 Mr James Allen moved 11 The previous question,” with a view to bringing the debate to a close.
Tho division rresulted in a tie, 31 on each side, and the .Speaker gave bis casting vote against tho continuance of the debate. A motion that the report of tbe Committee lie on. tho table was referred to the Government for consideration, and that the report with evidence be printed was then agreed to on: the voices. The Stock Act Amendment Bill passed the final stages. WELLINGTON, last night.
In the House on Saturday night the Public Works Bill, passed tbe final stages. The report of tho conference on the Juvenile Suppression Bill was agreed to. Considerable opposition was shown to the Railways Authorisation Bill and the Native Land Rating Bill- Progress was reported on them. The Maori Land Laws Bill passed the final stages.
