(Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., last night. Tho weather is anything but propitious for the People’s Day at the Manawatu A. and P. Show. A chilly southerly breeze is blowing, with a clouded sky, and the scene is generally more representative c£ winter than of summer. Nevertheless, people are not disposed to bo deprived cf tbeir outing becauso of a chango in the weather. Special trains aro bringing in many people from all quarters of the country. Accommodation for visitors is taied to its utmost, not only in Palmerston. but in Feilding, and some strangers have oven gono so far as Woodville for a night’s lodging. Judging was completed yesterday, and to-day competitions of a varied nature will fill in time.
