Fat Sheep: The 'entry comprised a very fair quality. Export buyers did not operate to auy extent, but the butchers were evidently short of supplies, and recent rates wero well maintained. Woolly wethers reui&od 21s 3d to 243 2d, woolly ewes" 16s 6d to'2ls lOd, shorn wethers 15s lid to 22s 6d, shorn ewes 15s to 20s, woolly merino wethers 19s 9d to 20s 3d. Store ahoop : 1400 were entered, and the improved prospocts for grazing resulted in a brisk demand at prices Is per head in advance of those at last sales. Ewes and lambs, all counted, brought 9s 7d to 14s 3d, hoggets 15s Id to 15s Bd, ewes aud wethers 14s 6cl. Fat lamb 3 : 500 were yarded. The

quality was mixed, and tho market easier, Prices ranged from 14j Id to 16s lOd for prime quality, extra prime 20s, lighter 10s 6d to 13s 6d. Pigs : TherdWas a good entry, but poor demand, prices again showing a declino. Baconors brought 38s to 50s, extra heavy 55s equal to 4d per lb, porkers 30s to 375, equal to 4i-d to 51 per lb.
