By. Electric Tdlegraph—Per Press Association—Copyright. BOMBAY, Nov. 17. While riding along through Mashobia highway tunnel, Lord Kitchener’s horse shied through a coolie rising suddenly.

Lord Kitchener’s leg struck a projecting beam, breaking both boiler clean above the ankle. The coolie bolted, leaving Lord Kitchener for half an hour in great agony.

Other coolies approached, but fled, declaring that the great War Lord was dead. Finally coolies brought a rickshas, and conveyed Lord Kitchener to Simla. His leg was set, and lie is doing, well. Inspection tours of Rawalpindi and Karchi have been cancelled.
