HARDENING OF PRICES.
By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright Received 1.16 a.m., Nov. 18. Sydney, Nov. 17. Government have notified an increase of interest on Savings Bank current accounts to per cent, from January 1. Adelaide, Nov. 17. The Treasury has decided to stop the issne of Sj- per cent. Treasury Bills. This is necessary owing to other States increasing their rates to 4 per cent-, militating against the sale of local bills. They are now issuing 4 per cents, with ageurrency of three, four, or five years,
