By, Telegraph—Press 'Association— Dunedin, last night. The Presbyterian Assembly considered the report of the Homo Missionaries Committee, and it was resolved that the training of home missionaries be committed to the Standing Committee. The Rev. Mr Bell wroto offering to deposit £SOO to assist in the establishing of a Church Fire Insurance Fund, provided nineteen others did the same. Tho offer was accepted. Tho reports of tho Theological College were accepted. The report of the Publications Committee was adopted, satisfaction being expressed at the increase in circulation. Mr A. H. Gainling was re-appointed editor, with Dr Woddel supervising editor and convenor. Now contracts were approved. It was stated thore was every probability that tho publishers would be able to pay £SO or £IOO profit to the committee.
