Per Press Association. Feilding, last night. Mr T. B. Fleming, stationmaster, died at noon on Saturday. Stratford, last night. A man named Alfred Payne met with a sorious accident at James’ felimongery. His right arm was drawn round the spindlo splitting machine, and badly mangled and broken up to tho shoulder. Wellington, last night.

William A. Charlton, manager of Pearson and Co., drapers, died suddonly soon after starting business on Saturday morning. Ho had boon resident in Wellington for over 20 years, and was i'ormorly with Neal and Close, Napier.

Dunedin, iaßt night,

Alex. Russell, painter, aged 21, oom mittod suicide by hanging early on Saturday morning. He complained of feeling ill on Friday evening, and that ho had wandered as far as Mosgiol without knowing how he got thore. No other cause save temporary insanity can be assumed.
