A cable to hand this morning gives a list of Birthday honors ; hut no mention is made of any coming to New Zealand. NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes to STOP a portion of the WAIMATA MAIN BOAD where it passes through Section 10, Block and Section 11, Block VIII.a, Waimata Survey District, and to exchange such stopped road with the owners of those Beotiousfor a new road taken in 1894, and since used as the Main Boad. Any parson having any objection to the stoppage of this road, or the oxchange of tho land therein, must state his objection in writing, and send it to the Cook County Council Office, Gisborne, on or before the 25th NOVEMBER, 1903.
