KING/S BIRTHDAY; HOLIDAY. POST OFFICE.—On Monday, the 9th inst., the Gisborne Post Office will be closed. All mails for despatch during the day will he made up at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday. A supplementary mail will close at 6 a„.m. on Monday. There will he no delivery by lettercarriers, but a counter and bos lobby, wicket delivery will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday. TELEGRAPH OFFiCE.-Tkis Office will be open Irom 9 a.m. jto! 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Attendance at private-box wicket. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE.—Open as usual. All Country Post and Telephone Offices ,in the Gisborne District will be closed, but Post Offices will remain open from 7 p,m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday fop delivery, of corres'ppndenep only. ,G. W.
