ICAISER OFFERS CUP

The Emperor of Germany presents a cup for an international trans-Atlantic yacht race next year, warmly thanking Sir Thomas Lipton for arranging at his insance to withdraw his recent offer. The Kaiser adds that he hopes the eentest will stimulate the type of vessel, combining seaworthiness, safety, and comfort without sacrificing everything to speed, and develop a sound typo of cruiser.
