£2OOO FOE WESTPORT.
(Per Frees Association.) Westport-, last night
The Westport Borough Council has received a reply to their application to Mr Carnegie for a sum of money to rebuild the public library which was destroyed by fire last New Year’s day. Mr Carnegie agrees to give £2OOO, provided the Borough raise at least £IOO per year by a Id rate, and provide a free site for the building,
