PARLIAMENTARY.
LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, last night. The Council met at 2.30. Tho following Bills passed tho final stages : Water Power, Animals Protection, Native Townships, Military Pensions, and City Single Electorates.
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House met at 2.30. The Secondary Schools Bill was introduced by the Governor’s message. The report of the third conference on the State Fire Insurance Bill, which referred clause 24 (tho clause indisp'ute between the two Chambers) back to the Legislative Council, was adopted. Tbe rest of tbe afternoon was spent in discussing replies given by Ministers to questions. The House resumed at 7.30.
Tho Scenery Preservation Bill and Land and Income Assessment Bill passed their final stages, and tho Houbc rose at midnight.
