Wellington, last night. : The following additional changes are about to take place in the Foss and Tele- - graph Department : —Mr Berry, phjef ; postmaster at Greymouth, retiring on a peDE-’oD, will bo succeeded by Mr Sampson, chief postmaster at Gisborne, whose place will be taken by Mr Kenner, chief postmaster at Ashburton. Mr Kenner will be succeeded by Mr Dansey, postmaster at Waitara, whpso successor will bo Mr Gilbert, postmaster at Mctueka, Mr A. J. Berry, chief clerk at Auckland, is promoted to he postmaster to the Motueka vacancy. The chief postmastership at the Thames will be filled by Mr Capper, postmaster at T’ort Chalmers, whose place will be taken by MrWalsb, postmaster at the Bluff, whom Mr Salmon, of Auckland, succeeds. Mr Inder, postmaster at CoVotnacdel, is to become chief postmaster at Palmerston North) vice Mr Innes, retired, Mr Fail, of Otaki, will fill the vacancy at Coromandel, and Mr Poyntcr, of Waugaiui, will take charge of Otaki.
