COOK COUNTY COUNCIL, Wf OTICS is hereby given that the Council i-S proposes to STOP a portion of the WA.tMd.TA. MAIN ROAD where it passes i through Section 10, Block and Section 11; Block VIII.a, Wairaata Survey District, and to exchange such stopped road with the owners o£ those sections for a new road taken in 1894, and since used as the Main Road. Any p -rsnn having any objection to the stoppage f this road, or the exchange of the land therein must state his objection in writing, and send it to the Cook County Cou-.cil Office, Gisborne, on or before the 25th NOVEMBER, 1903 Plans of the road to be stopped and exchanged are on view at the office of the Council, Gisborne.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to execute a Public Work, viz., the Construction of a Public Road, and for that purpose to take the lands described in
the Schedule hereto. The Works to be undertaken are formation and the construction of drains for the passage of surface water. The owner of the land to he taken is Mr E, P, Joyce. Any person having any objection to the taking of this land, or who will be injuriously affected by the proposed works, must state his objection in writing and send the writing to the office of the Council at Gisborne, on or before the 7th December; 1003. Passengers from Gisborne must obtain Tickets from Booking Oflice at back of Statloh before being admitted to Gisborne platform. No other entrance will be permitted. All tickets must be presented at tha Park Bacecourse railway gate when entering and leaving Show Ground. Passengers without tickets entering tra’n at Park Racecourse will be charged ordinary fares.
