Air J. E. Redmond, speaking at Kil larnpv, said the poorest laborer at Kerry was better off than the majority of thi Irish working in America. He had seen Irish laborers in Carnegie’s steel works at Pittsburg work 10 to 12, and sometimes 18 hours a day for a dollar and a half with tho prospect they would be thrown aside in 10 years. The time had now come for a campaign against emigration.
