LICENSING BILL.
PROTEST OF THE ALLIANCE.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Inst night. The Executive of the Now Zealand Al-
Banco passed a series of resolutions condemning the various features of the Licensing Bill. While recognising that the Bill has some good points, they consider it will immeasurably prejudice the prospects of temperance reform, and rob the peoplo of the victory which the results of the last poll show to bo within their grasp. The Executive call on all friends of “ the cause” to resist the progress of the measure.
