THE WOOL SALES,
Tbo wool sales held yesterday attracted a largo attendance of local and outsid buyers, and good prices wore realised. For skius values ranged from 3.j;d for inferior to 53d for good, well-saved skins ; crutchings from 3Jd to 4d. The offering of fleece wool was not great. Prices ranged from 54d to 6d. Tallow brought from 16s 6d to to 21s. Mosars Common, Shelton and Co. report that at the local sales held yestorday thoro was a good attendance of buyers from Auckland, Napior, and Christchurch, besides local buyers. Offerings of wool wore small, and consisted of odd lots. Crutchings made 3i[d, inferior fleece dead wool 5d to skins 6sd to 6d for one specially good lot; medium skins 4d to od ; station hides 4d.
