Christchurch, last night,
Few visiting horses have arrived at Ricoarton as yet. Many local ones are away at the Oamaru and Wellington meetings. The only gallop of importance this morning was between lioseal and Lenore, who got over a miie and a-half in 2.48. Rosea!, who had a pull in the weight, had his companion well beaton, and finished in a taking style. Treadmill did a mile in 1/19£. Djin JDjin was better than liagabrash over the same distance in 1.471. Huku and Stepdancer did six furlongs in 1.211-5, and Stratbavon a mile well within himself in 1.50- Lolah showed to advantage over Gladsome in a six furlongs spin, left behind in 1.195.
