MR SEDDON'S OPINION,

Per Pres/ Association. Wellington, last night,

On being told to-night of the message in regard to German annexation of Tonga, Mr Seddon said : “ I have heard nothing of it, and I don’t think there is anything in the rumor. The Tongan Islands have their own Government with a British protectorate.”
