Auckland, last night. At a meeting of the City Council a letter was received from the Health Officer, stating tjrat certain persons whose house was condemned arid duly pulled down had since that time been liviog in a stable on the same property. They were sharing the stable with a horse, and the general condition of the place wa3 very bad. It was, Dr Makgill said, evident that the stable must also be removed as unfit for human habitation. It \va3 decided to notify the owners of the buildings referred to to have the same pulled down by October 31st.
